Choosing upholstery fabric for your project can be both exciting & daunting (often at the same time!). At Eclectic Boogaloo, we guide you through this process to ensure you experience more excitement & less daunt. We have done a lot of the hard work in curating our favourites, a combination of composition, style & budget. You are welcome to order online at any stage, or if you need a little more help, we are more than happy to guide you.
Are you ready to dive in?
Perusing below is the best place to start & can be useful whether you choose a consultation with us or not. This whole process can be done from the comfort of your couch in front of the hazy glow of your laptop. Along this journey, we are happy to answer questions, provide suggestions, or inform you of prices & lead-times. We offer a curated collection of some of our faves, where you can order samples that will be sent directly to your home for you to um & ah over, before finalising your choices.
We have provided some selections by style, by composition, by usage & by sustainability credentials; as well as a bunch of our fave local & global designers. Time to bring out the mood board!
Sometimes the fabrics jump out to our clients & other times, it takes time to hone in on your final vibe. Regardless of which camp you land in, we are here to help you through this journey.
We recommend that you order samples from us & see how the colours & styles grow on you. Put them in your room/on your chair, see how they catch the light in the morning sun, see how they make you smile. Make sure the fabric is suitable for your use; check out our FAQ.
Still stuck? We are happy to meet at the warehouse to discuss or we can provide design consultations in the comfort of your home. Regardless of how you roll, we’ll be there to help you through.
This is the easy bit right?
You can order your fabrics directly online with us via our online shop, and we'll get the order off in a jiffy. Or in the case you've found a fabric not available in our shop; just inform us of your decision & we’ll place the order with the fabric house, send you an invoice for payment & will organise fabric delivery either to the warehouse (for job manufacturing), or if for your home project, directly to your door.
If you need help with your meterage, or are wanting to organise a large order & require additional advice on dye lots, piece lengths - then we are more than happy to help you out.

We love Kirkby Design for their modern take on textiles. On-trend collections, strong graphic design, sophisticated patterns & most of all, their creative use of texture. After something bold? I’m sure you’ll find something to suit by Kirkby Design.
Ottoline is a luxurious London-based Dutch design house founded by Ottoline de Vries. Ottoline is known for her playful use of colour & composition, her unique & contemporary patterns inspired by her love of nature & appreciation of historic styes, cultures & artform. Some gorgeous fabrics indeed.
A British mash-up of vibrancy & silk screen squeegee, drawing inspiration from the timorous beasties of the natural world. One where plants, animals & society are visually inextricable. If you love vibrant Velvets, Linens & Cotton, you’re in for a treat.
Love, love, love.
Oh yes, our other favourite designer from Spain. James creates textiles that blend his experiences of culture, travels & life experiences. We especially love his colours, textures & patterns. And a lover of linen.
A favourite Spanish textile designer of ours, inspired by the latest fashion trends, a balance of fresh & classical essences which define their collections and are noted as much for their floral motifs, prints and jacquards, as for their richness of texture and colour range.
What is it with the Danes & design? It's just not fair! Kvadrat do not disappoint, beautiful fabrics, awesome collaborations & some great fully recycled options.
Designs of the Time fabric is simply luscious. A family-run Belgian textile company at the top of their craft. With collections heavily based in natural fibres, plenty of linens & ageless style.
The Dutch know how to design textiles, De Ploeg have been honing their craft from over a century - with the experience of yesteryear, the vision of tomorrow & sustainable creds to boot. I get tingles everytime I unroll a De Ploeg.
