COVID-19 Update

My everyday work attire is conveniently suitable for Coronavirus pandemic protection.

Although my attire perhaps doesn't need to shift, we at Eclectic Boogaloo understand that as we all batten-down the hatches, our core value of connectivity needs to adapt (by a couple of steps), but in itself is even more important than ever.

Our hearts go out to those affected by COVID-19, first and foremost directly, and also to those affected by the trail of destruction that the pathogen reeks on our society. We applaud those on the front line of this crisis who put their lives at risk, and also those who need to do their bit in containing the virus at the expense of their financial and mental wellbeing. Take care.

We'll continue to do our thing, albeit adapting our operations to cater to the current situation and to the current advice of the Victorian Chief Health Officer.

UPHOLSTERY SERVICES

We are continuing to work through our upholstery & soft furnishing jobs as per normal, any delays at this point are expected to be minor (in which case we'll keep you informed as we would normally). We are also continuing to book jobs in, currently booking in work for May. We are more than happy to provide a no-obligation quote via text, DM, Facebook or email; just send us through a few snapshots of your chair.

If you are going to be home for a while, you may as well be comfortable!

FABRIC SELECTION

We are in the process of working with our suppliers to ensure we have plenty of fabric samples to choose from. We are more than happy to work through this process with you remotely, including sending samples directly to your house free of charge.

COLLECTION AND DELIVERIES

We will continue to provide collection and delivery services as per normal.

DROP-INS

It's easy to self-isolate when I work by myself (with a little help from @mr.eclectic.boogaloo). We’re trying to do what’s best for the world for the moment and that means social distancing. For the time-being, drop-Ins are temporarily suspended. However, I am always available to answer any queries via phone, email, Facebook or Instagram.

COURSES

For the moment, courses currently remain scheduled. We will not be scheduling an April course, but do currently have May (booked out) and June dates (some places available). We are constantly monitoring the advice of the Government and if closer to the time, the courses are unable to run we will make contact with our students individually.

And so, as I snap my mask on, up-tools and get on with my little bit of rebuilding the economy; I urge you to keep safe, keep "connected" and support the many struggling local businesses that rely so heavily on people walking through their doors.

Take care and peace out.
