This gorgeous antique French Bergère chair was formerly gracing the estate of Lady McPherson overlooking South Yarra’s Botanical Gardens. This beautiful chair has been crying out for a new home & a new style. I’ve been pottering around with this beauty on and off for a year now, stripping it back to the frame and rebuilding (almost) to it’s original glory. All that is left, is the vision of a new custodian, some final touches and the all important fabric choice. I was thinking a vintage Japanese kimono. What do you think?
