Be it for couch cushions, midcentury chairs, bench seats, outdoor lounges or even for a caravan make-over, these skills are transferable to a multitude of purposes. Our “Sew-What” project is designed to get you going on your very own sewing upholstery project. In this\u003cstrong\u003e six hour\u003c\/strong\u003e course, you will become familiar with our sewing machines, learn how to measure \u0026amp; cut your fabric with seam allowance, sew piping (if required) as well as learn about the various types of foam. And of course, you will get hand’s-on by sewing your new cushion cover project. Please note that the size of your project is a key factor in being able to finish in the allotted time, but the course is designed to ensure you have the skills to finish it off at home or during our Upholstery Club*. This course, located in our Moorabbin Upholstery Workshop, is the perfect introduction to sewing in a social and relaxed atmosphere.
